Bio

Krum High School (4A-D2) - Defensive Coordinator

Waldie is entering his 31st year in coaching. He spent 9 seasons at the Collegiate level coordinating the Defense at Bethany College, Washburn University, and Kansas Wesleyan University. He was named the National Defensive Coordinator of the Year in 2001 and was a part of Six Conference Championships. He has served as the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for 5 Districts in Texas: Luling, Woodville, Daingerfield, Gonzales and Groveton ISD’s.

Waldie is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. His wife Amy is an educator in Krum ISD, they have 4 children: Brock, Brynn, Bodie and Brooks.
